I wasnt planning on making a trip for the Publix current weekly deal which ends today, but I needed some garbage bags so we made a quick trip. I really like to have my items well stock up and when I see a few items are left then I would keep an eye out for deals but when it comes to garbage bags is harder for me to stock up. Luckily there was a special price for the Glad Tall Kitchen Bags for the big box, so while there I took advantage of the Powerbar and Thomas Bagels deal.. ohh and of course some more FREEEE Eureka Bread jejeje..

I love to read, search and learn new ways to save and since the summer of 2015 I started earning points/miles by opening a few credit cards. This month I received Chase Freedom credit card which gives you
- 5% cash back on up to $1500 spent in bonus categories that change every 3 months
- 1% unlimited cash back (automatically all purchases with no limit how much you can earn)
Since this Quarter Bonus category is Grocery Stores – I took advantage of my trip paying with my new credit card and receiving 5% cash back.
Now that is a win-win deal jejeje..

Applying for a credit card is a tricky decision because many things have to be consider from your credit score, your spending, budget, fees and making sure you pay your balance in full. You wont be able to take full advantage of the benefits a credit card may offer if you dont pay it in full. If you are working to rebuild your credit or is hard for you to keep track of your spending then this is not the time for you to consider getting this credit card. Getting into debt is no joke so weighing your options and planning some new goals can help you have a fruitful year while you reach that goal.
