Wednesday Fave or Fail? This Week Beauty Item – Revolution Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette – $7
When on the go, or starting your daily routine some items you tend to reach after more often. Sometimes it could be for convenience while other times could be because of how well it works. As the week progress you realized there are some products that probably become your favorite item for that week or it can be just the opposite a total fail.
Well on this weekly series or post I would like to share my beauty journey, there is no surprised we have so many great products in the market and it seems there is constantly new ones. It will be hard to try them all or search which one you should consider but that is why I am doing this post. I would like to share my journey on each product and give my honest review specially when trying them on my crazy skin (sensitive, oily and acne prone).

Thinking of the items I am enjoying for the past 2 weeks is this new palette I purchase about a month ago.
When in Ulta I saw a few good eyeshadow palettes that are very affordable, I was skeptical at first since I have spent about $12-$17 in eyeshadow palette at the drugstore and I wasn’t impressed. That being said I have seen just a few videos about the palettes from revolution I hear how great they are. So deciding if I should get it was based on the videos I remember watching. Once I looked through the shelves the colors I saw weren’t the ones I remember seeing in the videos but I was fine with my choice since I do like the colors it brings.
Well why is this my favorite when I struggle on getting this palette
Some items can quickly be your faves or fail. For me i love a palette that has some warm tones but creative colors all in one. I also enjoy of the colors are pigmented and they blend well together. Another benefit is the powder is very soft and not patchy making it easy to blend.
So after seeing all of the benefits this palette brings It shows $7 on this palette is very much worth it.
5 days makeup challenge?
On a beauty Facebook group there was a challenge offer to use one palette for one week (5 days). This means you can only do your eye makeup look using just one palette. Well if you are starting to do your own makeup your thought might be is there any other way ? But in reality I tend to use 2-3 palettes when doing my eye makeup look. Thinking of using just one palette is really a challenge for me and that is why this palette comes in.
Out of all the palettes I have I decided to use a brand new one to use while applying my makeup for 5 days. I will share the looks I created for the day to day makeup look using this palette.
I am so happy I did this challenge not only because it helps you get more created but it pushed me on using just one palette.
The only thing I would change on this palette would be to have a much more intense highlight to use around the brow bone and the corners of my eyes.
Besides that I am enjoying this palette and I do see that the colors do blend nicely together.
After using this palette in 5 days you may wonder if I used all of the colors? But to be honest I still haven’t touched a few colors. It does show that one palette can be used and is enough to recreate more then 5 looks.

Here I share 3 looks I did using just this palette, that was a challenge on its own since I am used to using a few palettes for one makeup look. After taking on this challenge I started to enjoy this palette and I am impressed how well it works and after using it a few times there are still some colors I havent used just yet.
Conclusion
I recommend this palette. It can be as a gift or a perfect one to buy for you. The price is really good and you are getting a very good item for the price. If you are allergic to certain ingredients such as carmine verify it before making a purchase. Other then that is truly a great product and you can see the looks I created are everyday wear but they do look different every time. I am excited on getting the other palettes they have since the colors are warm tones too.
